Team Taylor's 10th and Final Year of Making a Difference
It is hard to believe that this is Team Taylor's 10th year of participating in Concord Hospital Payson Center's Rock N Race. Through the loss of my beautiful daughter; Team Taylor was born by our loving Captain, my chiildhood friend, Leigh Ellen Watt. Team Taylor was a perfect way to give back to a community who provided my family with endless caring, support and compassion while also keeping Taylor's spirit alive in a most positive way. Team Taylor picked up where Taylor left off . . . Making A Difference!
Ironically enough, this year, my father received cancer care at the Payson Center. No one wants to walk through the Payson Center doors as a patient; however, what brought my family a sense of our angel all around was being surrounded, on the Concord Hospital campus, by Team Taylor bricks, benches, bird baths and tree markers everywhere you look. Thanks to all of you and your generous donations over the years; Taylor's legacy lives on. This now seems a perfect time to close the book on our Team Taylor journey.
Thanks to all who have supported Team Taylor over the last 10 years; I am forever grateful to be blessed by so many angels of this earth. Here's to my last request to join our team of over 100+ as we hit the streets of Concord this Thursday, consider a donation or continue to send your prayers and support to all the families who face the battle against cancer.
With My Heartfelt Thanks & Love, Laura (Taylor's Mom)
